For those who know someone who has served, we encourage you to take some time to personally thank these individuals. A card, a phone call, a gift card to a favorite store. Plan with others to coordinate a surprise with an automobile drive-by. You’ve seen the videos out there already when recognition has been given to a surviving World War II veteran and the look of such pleasure on their faces to see so many people honk and wave, leave posters of thanks on their doorsteps. Be a part of the celebrating! We need so much of that right now!
