You're engaged! So, so exciting and I hope that you were able to share this moment with friends and family - even if these days it is just with photos and Zoom. You may be now trying to figure out when and how to begin the planning process...
How about the old-fashioned, tried-and-true method - writing everything down? Your venue, your "look", your gown, your floral choices... Don't think about prioritizing - just keep this running dialogue with yourself about creating special memories. Maybe there is a theme that you want to share with your guests - something that is unique to the two of you. Maybe a location - many venues are now offering virtual tours now so you can begin to weed out what you like and don't like. Many on-line "stores" offer detailed ideas so that you can price out a certain look. Such as Etsy, Wayfair, Michael's (craft store).
Or maybe you want to go the intimate route and schedule your ceremony sooner rather than later with just a handful of family and friends to share it with. You can still bring in the details - but on a much smaller scale.
Making lists seem to feed the excitement and joy of your special day as it comes to fruition. Yes! It really is happening. Yes! Despite what is happening in our world, our love can be shared and experienced with those important to us. So happening planning!
