Red, white and blue? Many of us are feeling extra blue these days since so many summer traditions—picnics, music festivals, and beach parties—won't be happening. So get into the 4th of July spirit by watching the 2016 fireworks show over Lake Arrowhead. Michael Sherman created a time-lapse video that condenses the entire show into a minute and a half! Weddings this summer will be much different than nuptials of the very recent past.
One year we planned a July 4th wedding. The bride wore white with navy trim and the most gorgeous navy satin shoes. The bridesmaids were in the cutest navy dresses—which they really could wear again! The groom and his groomsmen were dapper in navy suits and the groom wore a red bow tie. The floral arrangements were white and red roses with blue hydrangea. The linens were white with navy overlays. Guests were asked to wear either navy or red or a combination of the two. The setting was in the bride’s backyard which was decked out in old-fashioned bunting. As the couple left at the end of the reception, all the guests waved sparklers to send them off on to a bright and happy future!
Likewise, DiMadeline & Company is looking forward to bright and happy future—for all of us. We're in this together. Stay safe.
